What’s the Need to Worry?
If you have ever used a low quality drill for a project of your own, you should already be well aware of how low-quality they can be. Without the right fit, you won’t be handling your project in the perfect sense. It’s always going to be in your best interests to save as much money as possible, as well as time. Time is money, and money is time – those are two things that go together quite well. If you’re not using the most optimal power tools on your projects, odds are you’re going to be wasting both of these amazing feats.
Have You Used It Before?
Of course! I wouldn’t be writing a review on one of the best drills around if I hadn’t used it for myself. When I was using it, I was looking to push it to the absolute edge of its limits. I was going to be doing things that I wouldn’t normally be doing (you know, like just dropping the drill at random intervals and going “oops, how could I have ever done such a thing!”). All jokes aside, this should be a review that sheds an abundance of information on the subject for you.
This is a relatively heavy duty drill, so more needy projects can be handled in an easier sense. It’s very compact and light in the weight itself, but still managed to work with some of the more needy projects out there. It’s powered by an Energy Star charger (a brand that is “qualified), and the ergonomic handle means that you’ll always be comfortable and in control. There’s a high speed transmission process being used here, and this has 2 different speeds incorporated within it.
The Pro’s of This Drill
It’s really useful and can be handled by even the most novice user around. It’s going to be much more suitable in the hands of a veteran, but that doesn’t mean it’s limited to only that (and nothing else). I really liked the ergonomic handle, and how it allowed me to use the drill with comfort and ease. The power source is a reliable one, and it’s capable of working with the heaviest duty projects in town. Drills and Drivers like this one are always going to be a hot commodity!
The Con’s of This Drill
Finding a con can be tough with some products, much like this one. DEWALT did an amazing job with this product, and the only real problem I had with it would be the fact that there isn’t a corded source of power to make use of – it always has to be charged.
So, Your Verdict?
I like this drill, quite a bit, actually. I’ve been using it for well over 3 weeks now and haven’t noticed a jump in the amount of capability it’s produced, whether it be for the better or worse. It’s consistent, and I like that a lot.
